ONLY SERIOUS INQUIRES AND INCLUSIONS INTO THE BOOKS ARE ACCEPTED!! IF A FOUNDATION HORSE IS SOLD OR DISPOSED OF ANY OTHER WAY OR GELDED -NOTIFIY THE ISHR FOUNDATION DEPT. IMMEDIATELY! REGISTRATION AND FOUNDATION CERTIFICATES MUST BE RETURNED TO REGISTRY AS SOON AS ANY OF THE ABOVE OCCUR!! AT THIS TIME - THE FOUNDATION BOOKS WILL CLOSE JANUARY 1, 2015! THE FOUNDATION DEPARTMENT HAS BEEN MONITORING THE FOUNDATION STALLIONS AND MARES AND A LARGE PERCENTAGE OF THESE HORSES ARE BEING SOLD WITH NO TRANSFER OR BEING GELDED, AND NO CERTIFICATES HAVE BEEN TURNED IN TO ISHR AND/OR OWNERS MOVE LEAVING NO ADDRESS CHANGES. AWARDS ARE GIVEN TO FOUNDATION STALLIONS & BROODMARES EVERY YEAR WITH MEDALLIONS AND/OR SPECIAL CERTIFICATES - FOR 2008 ALMOST 20 AWARDS WERE TO BE GIVEN OUT - AFTER CONTACTS WERE MADE TO ALL FOUNDATION OWNERS, MOST OF THE STALLIONS WERE EITHER SOLD (no transfer was ever received by ISHR) OR THEY WERE GELDED. SEVERAL OWNERS NEVER RETURNED CALLS OR LETTER CONTACTS (the Medallion awards were severly cut down to only a few) - THE ISHR MUST BE ABLE TO CONTACT ALL FOUNDATION HORSE OWNERS, IF THIS CANNOT BE POSSIBLE THEN THE FOUNDATION EQUINE MUST BE SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. D) All approved Foundation Stallions & Broodmares will receive an Foundation Certificate from the ISHR home office with a permanant Foundation number.
